Piet fell in Love with Detroit, we fell in love with Piet and Oudolf Garden Detroit was born. Little did we know that 2019 flooding would delay the garden and change its design and then the Pandemic would keep Piet from seeing his creation in-person until August 2022!
Piet has designed a new Bird Border that will be installed this spring and you can sponsor a shrub to help the garden grow. This coming winter Piet will be designing the Meadows that surround the Nancy Brown Peace Carillon — stay tuned for opportunities to participate in the Meadows.
