Sponsor a Bench and Bench Honorees

Piet Oudolf personally selected these sleek wood slat benches from Italy. The Pouf Metalco Collezione Colore Design by West 8 were manufactured to order for Oudolf Garden Detroit. This bench was originally designed for Piet’s garden at Vlinderhof in Utrecht , Netherlands. In addition, Piet chose the different colors of the powder coated bench bases and also selected the individual placement of the benches in Oudolf Garden Detroit. Ordered in the fall of 2021, the benches were installed in the early summer of 2022. Oudolf Garden Detroit does not physically attach a name to the bench, but recognizes the contribution or honoree here on our website. The cost to sponsor a bench is $7500 USD which includes the fabrication, shipping from Europe and installation in the Garden.
